Condition & logistics
Running vs. Not Running
Don’t worry if your SUV or crossover isn’t in perfect shape! We accept running vehicles but also those that have seen better days. However, keep in mind that vehicles in running condition often receive higher valuations.
Title Issues
If you have title issues, don’t fret! We can help you with the necessary paperwork, but make sure you have at least a title or a bill of sale for your donor vehicle to expedite the process.
Storage and Pickup Logistics
We understand that life gets busy. If your SUV or crossover is parked at home or in storage, we’ll coordinate a convenient pickup time that works for you. Just give us a shout!
Title transfer & paperwork
When donating your SUV or crossover in Michigan, please ensure you follow the DMV title transfer protocols. You'll need to fill out a form - the TR-11L is standard - and witness a signature. Notarization is required, so have that ready. Don’t forget to return your plates to the Secretary of State, as it’s a must-do in Michigan!
Tax deduction for this donation
When you donate your SUV or crossover, you may be eligible for a tax deduction ranging between $500 to the sale price if it sells for over that amount. We’ll provide you with a 1098-C form, detailing the sale price, to help you maximize your tax benefits while giving back to the community.
